Robot integration and automation of press lines.
Engineering, programming and commissioning of robotic cells with ABB, KUKA and FANUC, 2D and 3D machine vision and Siemens control. From destacking to racking, or a single cell where work is still done by hand.
Request a technical proposal ↗Four operations that still cause problems on many lines.
And how we solve them with current robotics, vision and control.
End-of-line stacking or racking cell, without touching the rest of the line.
In-line inspection with 2D or 3D vision and automatic rejection of bad parts.
Robot or controller replacement, reusing the mechanics and tooling that still work.
Cell status in 3D on the HMI and production data to the MES over MQTT.
One cell or the whole line.
Each service can be contracted separately or as part of a turnkey project.

The robot is the part you see. Behind it there is a camera or profiler telling it where the part is, and a PLC coordinating it with the press, the conveyor, the safety system and the plant MES.

The program that synchronises robot, machine and safety, the HMI showing the cell in 3D and production data to the MES over MQTT.
Press-to-press handling, end of line and process cells.
The cell in 3D, with its real status.
We model every cell in 3D before building it. We take that same model to the WinCC Unified HMI and to the browser with Three.js, so the operator sees the cell exactly as it is.
Try it on the model of our racking cell: choose a status and see it on the cell.

Two FANUC robots loading racks.
At a plant in Hungary, two FANUC R-2000iC robots load panels into racks at the end of the line. The video shows the same cell in the 3D model, at the FAT in our workshop and in production at the plant. The HMI shows the cell in 3D and production data goes to the MES over MQTT.
Every KUKA robot on the line.
On the Estampaciones Rubí press line we programmed every KUKA robot between the Fagor presses. The video shows the line in ghost mode: it runs the full cycle without sheet metal to check paths and synchronisation with every press stroke before running parts.
EuroBLECH · HanoverCommissioning engineers with our own workshop in Ortuella.
APRI Control is an engineering cooperative in Bizkaia. The partners design, program and commission every project, and before founding APRI we had already started up press lines in twelve countries across Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia.

Another question? An engineer will answer you directly on .
Can you automate just part of the line?
Yes. We often take on a single operation: unloading, stacking, racking, the vision-guided loader or inspection. The rest of the line stays as it is.
Do you work with the robots we already have?
Yes. We program ABB, KUKA and FANUC. If your plant has a different robot, PLC or vision standard, we work within it.
How much does a robotic cell cost?
It depends on the part, the cycle time and everything around the robot: tooling, guarding, electrical cabinet, vision and engineering. The robot is usually less than half of the total. Send us the layout and the part and we will give you a figure for your case.
Is there a charge for the first proposal?
No. With the layout and the part we send you a first proposal with the cell placed in your plant, free of charge.
Can you connect the cell to our MES?
Yes. We send production data and cell status to the plant MES over MQTT.
Do you test the cell before installing it?
Yes. We build and test it in our workshop in Ortuella before shipping it. You are welcome to come and see it running.
Do you hand over the programs?
Yes. All the software we write for your installation is handed over open, with no passwords. Only proprietary software stays locked.
Do you work outside the Basque Country?
Yes, across Spain and abroad: our panel racking cell is in Hungary. The partners have commissioned press lines in twelve countries.
Tell us what you want to automate.
Tell us which part, machine or line, and when your next shutdown is. An engineer will reply, and the first proposal is free of charge.
